Visit Doha Trade Fair 2012 @ Doha Exhibition Center

Yesterday Friday evening 06-January-2012,  I and my family went to  visit Doha Trade Fair 2012 @ Doha Exhibition Center.

The Doha Trade Fair 2012, (DTF 2012) is Qatar’s biggest shopping carnival of the year, gears up to welcome thousands of visitors from home and across the region when doors open on New Year’s Day.

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by H.E Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al-Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (QCCI).

The grand opening of the Doha Trade Fair 2012 was held on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at the Doha Exhibitions Center.

The ten-day shopping extravaganza, featuring over 570 exhibitors from 29 countries around the world, all under one roof, will include a wide range of products varying from cosmetics, fabrics and textiles to food, toys and more.

The fair was feature consumer and household goods from around the globe — everything from fabrics to toys, furniture, cleaning products, gadgets, carpets and much, much more from nearly 600 exhibitors occupying a space of 15,000 sq. meters. Among the major countries represented this year are Canada, Bangladesh, Czech Republic, China, Egypt, France, Iran, India, Italy, Qatar, Philippine, Oman, Morocco, Malaysia, Lebanon, KSA, Kuwait, Kenya, Korea, UAE, Turkey, Tunisia, Thailand, Singapore, Syria, SA and Yemen.

The event is family friendly, and is open to all members of the public.

The fair also provides an ideal forum for business owners and dealers to network with each other and purchase products at wholesale price.
